Price guarantee
Sembo ensures that you as a customer have access to low prices and competitive vacation options! If you book your trip with us and then find your trip available at a lower price within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed, we will refund the difference in price to you.
How does our price guarantee work?
Firstly, make sure that the travel - or hotel booking you wish to claim the price guarantee for, is offered on a Swedish online website that has a travel guarantee lodged with Kammarkollegiet.
Each product in your Sembo booking must match the one you have found cheaper e.g. number of travelers, same departure and return dates, flight times, flight numbers, additional services for the flight, transfers, hotel, room type with the same rules and cancellation conditions, number of rooms and meals.
We need all information about the other offer including a link to the relevant company where the lower price is clearly stated and the price you ask us to price match must be in the same currency.
The price you want to match must not be part of a loyalty or reward program. Sembo defines these offers where the customer receives a discounted price from the property or another website as a reward for repeat purchases; for logging in; entering a promotional code; referring other customers or for taking any other action that subsequently changes the original price. The price must be publicly available and Sembo must be able to book the same price without being a member or part of a loyalty program.
To make use of the Price Guarantee, the person who is the main booker in the booking must contact our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the booking confirmation, as at this stage Sembo has already paid the original price for parts of your booking.
We can therefore only guarantee a price in 24 hours because some service providers, such as airlines and hotels, often change their prices.
Please note that the Price Guarantee can only be applied once per booking and that the Price Guarantee does not apply to flight-only bookings.
