The cottage is located in the cottage settlement at the end of a road closed to through traffic. It invites to a relaxing vacation for the whole family. A nice, bright atmosphere prevails inside. Back home, you can relax in the sauna. On the Hornsherred peninsula there are many child-friendly bathing beaches. For fishing enthusiasts, Vellerup Vig is a good body of water to catch pollack (dinghies are rented) and there are good opportunities to catch garfish on Roskilde Fjord at Crown Prince Frederiks Bro (remember to buy a fishing license). Frederikssund is a small cozy town with good shopping facilities. The town holds annual Viking Games, at the festive end of which you can join the table in Valhalla with good food and entertainment.
