The beautiful, hilly landscape at Horne Land is surrounded by water. At the edge of Bøjden is a small ferry harbor, from where a ferry leaves for Als. Svannige Bakker the 'Alps of Funen' are a popular near Bøjden. It is a hilly area with hiking and biking trails and a nature playground. On the edge of the area is an 18-hole golf course (Fåborg Golfklub). From Bøjden it is only 9 km to Fåborg, which is an exciting harbor town with a marina, good stores, cultural attractions, arts and crafts, tennis, mini golf and swimming pool. At the nearby campsite you can play minigolf and use the bathing area (for a fee).
