There are many nice hiking possibilities in the nearby mountains, you can also take your bike and cycle over the mountains. Or you can take the elevator up and bike down. The apartment is also a good starting point for day trips to the west coast to experience the beautiful fjords. Hemsedal also offers various events and activities during the summer season, such as kayak paddling.
