About the hotel
You can enjoy a wonderful dinner in the restaurant in these old buildings. Wine tasting is available in the wine cellar. You can also swim in the hotel's own swimming pool. Every room has a four-poster bed and no two rooms are alike. This castle hotel is in the heart of Denmark's oldest fruit farm, which dates back to 1793. It is surrounded by small, thatched buildings and there is a small lake nearby. The park feels like an oasis. Over the years this area has attracted artists such as Holger Drachmann and August Strindberg, who found inspiration in these beautiful surroundings. The small fishing village of Hornbæk is not very far away. It is now a place where rich people living in Copenhagen come to spend the summer. It has one of the best beaches in Denmark. In the low season the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
