It is just around the corner from Kvarnholmen's delightful centre. Kalmar is one of oldest cities in Sweden and the hotel itself is in an old harbour warehouse, and still features original logs and beams from the 18th century. Visit the county museum, Kalmar Läns Museum, and Kalmar Castle. There are also many wonderful golf courses close by. Tips on places to visit: Öland (approximately 10 km).
